The crew car 9P157 consists of 2 people. The machine has high maneuverability and is capable of operating in the conditions of the damaging factors of weapons of mass destruction. Ammunition of the 9P157 combat vehicle is 15 anti-tank guided 9M123 and 9M123F missiles in an automated combat pack. Loading a retractable launcher from an automated combat pack of combat vehicles with a choice of rocket type is performed automatically. Missiles are loaded into the ammunition using a loading mechanism or manually. On the retractable launcher of the combat vehicle are two containers with missiles.

9P157 combat vehicle is equipped with an optical-laser guidance system and a radar control system.

The rate of fire fighting vehicles up to 4 missiles / minute. Missile launch is performed from the place, sequentially. From one combat vehicle, two missiles can be simultaneously aimed at two targets.

The rocket is made according to the normal aerodynamic configuration.

A diesel-electric unit (generator) with a power of 15.8 kW and generating voltage 380V (three-phase with a frequency of 50 Hz) is installed in the container body to supply power to the Shot Blasting Machine equipment and the rockets to be tested;

The generator is installed in the compartment of the body-container. Power supply is made to consumers without removing the generator from the compartment.

Shot Blasting Machine 9V990 is also supplied with power from an industrial three-phase AC network of 380V ± 10% with a frequency of (50 ± 1) Hz.

Standard measuring devices are designed to test the subsystems KPA 9V981.
